How do they work?
Like conventional earrings, the NOVA H1 are placed on the earlobes and project the sound from inside the pearl straight into your ear canal. There are four microphones (two tiny microphones integrated into each earring) and two speakers providing clear voice and noise cancelation. There is also a button on the back of the earrings to answer phone calls, play/skip songs, and activate the digital assistant.
The NOVA H1 earrings offer Bluetooth 5.0 for low energy connection and aptX™ audio technology for a high-quality music experience. The rechargeable battery offers 3+ hours of audio playtime. The battery can recharged on the go with the portable charging case that contains a 320mAh rechargeable battery and it can recharge the earrings more than 5 times to provide over 20 hours of playtime. It recharges in 2 hours wirelessly through the integrated Qi receiver or the USB-C connector. The earrings are also lightweight with each earring weighing around 7g.

The NOVA H1 earrings are currently available on Kickstarter, which has managed to raise almost $100000 with 25 days still to go in the crowd funding. The NOVA H1 can be purchased with a pledge of $375, which includes NOVA H1 silver earrings and a charging case. The price is quite steep compared to other conventional earphones but you also get a unique design in a format of a pearl earring. These earring earphones won’t work for everyone but they are a great option for those looking to make a fashion statement with wearable audio device.
