Lodge Solar Speaker was recently announced as part of a crowdfunding campaign by Lodge Sound. Designed to deliver high fidelity audio, Lodge Solar Powered Speaker System is a wireless speaker system for your outdoor needs.
After noticing a lack of options for high quality wireless landscape speakers, the Lodge team came up with the idea for Lodge Sound. It features a patent-pending system with a powerful 50 watt-powered driver for bass notes, tuned 3/4″ domed tweeter for high notes, and integrated 4” tuned passive subwoofer for consistent high fidelity audio.
In developing the Lodge Solar Powered Speaker System, we wanted to achieve indoor quality sound built for the backyard, without the hassle. Audiophiles can finally say goodbye to running wires, plugging in their speakers to charge, or settling for subpar sound outdoors. Our rugged speakers are weatherproof and our solar panels are shatter-proof – resisting the elements – whether they’re hit with rain, snow, wind, dust, or sand.

The Lodge speaker is surrounded by a shatterproof and durable solar panels that make up 180 square inches of the outside surface. The solar panels are positioned on Top, Sides, and Back so that it ensures continuous exposure to sunlight regardless of the sun’s position throughout the day. The device produces 15 hours of continuous music with a single charge. The wireless connection is maintained between your phone and the speaker using Bluetooth 5.3 audio chip that is able to cover over 100 feet of distance. You can use your phone or any Bluetooth-enabled device to start streaming your music wirelessly to the Lodge speaker.

Lodge Sound is offering several configurations for its Kickstarter backers: one speaker plus stand; two speakers plus two stands, and four speakers plus found stands. It has already raised more than $207,000 (USD) from more than 537 backers with 18 more days to go in the campaign. The set, which includes solar powered speaker and a stand, is available for $210 USD (30% off MSRP) on the Kickstarter platform for a limited time. Lodge speaker will be ready to ship in Canada and United States in the world starting in summer 2022.
