OnePlus has always had great success with marketing its smartphones ahead of launch. It is not any different this time around as the upcoming OnePlus 6 flagship smartphone has been hyped for quite a while now. The company has even released a sneak peak video, which allowed few users to get a chance to see early prototypes of the OnePlus 6. The company has confirmed that the smartphone will be officially announced on May 16th.
Technical Specification
The OnePlus 6 is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor clocked at 2.7 GHz and up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The display is expected to be AMOLED 6.28″ with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 px. The OnePlus 6 is expected to feature dual camera setup on the back with a 20MP (f/1.6) + 16MP (f/1.6) lens and the front camera will be 20MP (f/2.0). The battery will have total capacity of 3450 mAh.
As the iPhone X like notched display caused some controversy, OnePlus has released a statement to clarify that “Recently many users have raised interest in having a black-out function. We respect your feedback, and would like to give everyone the ability to choose. This function will enable you to black out the background of the notifications and status bar”.

Pricing and Availability
OnePlue will be releasing the OnePlus 6 in Asia, Europe and North America on Monday, May 21 via a number of pop-up stores. There is no official details on the pricing but it is rumored that the 256GB model of the OnePlus 6 with 8GB of RAM will retail for around $720 (USD).
OnePlus is going all out by offering Marvel Avengers limited edition OnePlus 6, which has already grabbed the attention of many around the world.
