If you ever wanted to use your smartphone as your desktop computer, then NuDock has a solution for you. NuDock allows you to connect your USB C compatible smartphone (see compatibility section below) to many different devices including a monitor, keyboard, and mouse. NuDock promises to “seamlessly transform your smartphone into an entertainment and work center”.
NuDock is a portable dock with a square ABS+ Aluminum Alloy body with dimensions of 100mm x 100mm x 46mm (L x W x H). It has a top lid which can be pushed to slide the box open in order to reveal the USB-C connector. When you plug in your smartphone, the top lid acts as a phone stand to secure your phone at an angle. When the USB-C input is connected to the adapter, it provides power for all of your other ports as well as your smartphone.

Key Features of NuDock
NuDock allows you to navigate your smartphone like you’re on a laptop, so you can edit files, emails, pictures on a big screen with a mouse and a keyboard. You can also use flash drive to USB 3.0 port on the product, and you can edit documents and transfer files from a flash drive. You can also plug your phone into NuDock to stream 4K 30Hz HDMI video to your UHD TV, projector, or music to an A/V receiver. The NuDock allows you to use a mouse, type on a keyboard or even use a game controller to play Android games. The SD and MicroSD card readers in NuDock support cards up to 2 TB and speeds up to 104 MB/s, which allows you can copy, move and delete the files.
The three USB 3.0 ports allow transfer speeds at 5Gbps (640MBps), so you can transfer large files between your phone and flash drive. At max speed, you can transfer 1GB movie in 3 seconds. You can use your USB-C PD (Power Delivery) wall charger from 5V/9V/14.5V/20V@3A max, which gives you 49W of maximum power to power all of the ports and your smartphone.

Pricing and Availability
The NuDock is currently available to pre-order on Indiegogo. The project was launched on in Feb 2019, and it has been 100% funded with $114,920 raised by almost 1,421 backers (pledged of $5,000 goal). The Super Cable Type-C is available on IndieGogo for $79 USD. The product is estimated to go into mass production in April 2019 with deliveries starting in May 2019.
