Apple iPhone X
When Apple introduced the iPhone X in Nov 2017, it led the competition with an industry first smartphone. The key distinguishing feature was the screen and nothing but the screen in the front. As Apple likes to call it, “It’s all screen”. With the all screen design, Apple removed the home button/fingerprint scanner and offered Face ID for secure authentication. The rear camera setup is also improved with dual 12MP cameras (ƒ/1.8 and ƒ/2.4).
Samsung Galaxy Note 9
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is not Samsung’s most original looking device to date. It is still beautiful but looks a lot like the previous generation like the Galaxy S9 series. The Galaxy Note 9 comes with either the snapdragon 845 or the Exynos 9810, which are the same chips available on the S9. The Exynos chip is faster than the snapdragon but unfortunately it is not usually available for purchase in the United States. Both chips can handle heavy multitasking and demanding apps without a slowdown. The Note 9 runs Android Oreo 8.1
Huawei P20 Pro
Huawei introduced the P20 Pro to compete in the top-end smartphone segment and rightfully so. The Huawei P20 Pro features unique style and industry’s first triple camera that has got many people’s attention in the tech industry. According to DxOMark, “HUAWEI P20 Pro beats the competition in virtually every category”. The Huawei P20 Pro features a new gradient colour (in Twilight and Pink Gold variant). The curved glass design allows the phone to be physically smaller even with a 6.1” screen.
Oppo Find X
The Oppo Find X is way different than other smartphones available on the market. It comes with a brand new design which Oppo claims to be a fusion of Technology and Art. The Oppo Find X is powered by top of the line Snapdragon 845 processor, which keeps it running smoothly without any issues. The super fast processor is paired with Adreno 630 graphics chip. The Find X has 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. The battery is non-removable with 3730 mAh capacity that supports VOOC Flash Charge, which will fully charge the phone in 35 minutes.
All of these smartphones have one thing in common, they are all priced at $1000 or higher. So which one do you think is better?
