Huawei P20 Pro was released on 06 Apr 2018 in the UK. The P20 and P20 Pro will most likely go on sale in multiple regions in Europe, the U.K., Australia, Africa, China, and more. We have recently learned that Huawei P20, P20 Lite, and P20 Pro will be available through several Canadian carriers next month (May 2018).
Huawei and the U.S.A
The Huawei P20 lineup isn’t coming to the United States, mainly because of the ongoing concerns of the US spy agencies about Huawei’s involvement with the Chinese government. The U.S officials are concerned that Huawei smartphones may be designed to allow unauthorized access by the Chinese government. Huawei has stated that the U.S. officials’ security concerns are “unfounded and unproven” and has asked the U.S. government to investigate any aspect of its business. This issue has not gone anywhere and smartphones made by Huawei are still banned in the U.S.A.
